My number 1 on the Top 10 Places to EAT in Budva, Montenegro. Why? For being a very authentic restaurant in a super setting! Dinner outside under the pergola on a balmy summer afternoon/ evening together with one of their wine selections, in their green oasis and you have the makings of super setting all round.
The staff are professional. You have to book in advance in summer to avoid being dissapointed. Fish and veg are fresh from their origins! Starters are excellent and the portions are huge! Old time classics on their menu with exceptional fresh produce. A rare gem in Budva. Rated by the public 4.6*

This Restaurant is in the old Town of Budva. It offers you both Dine in and Take-away for those lazy days. The hospitality is great and they offer international dishes of truffle pastas, sea bass, squid and end top it off with their delicious desserts of pancakes, tiramisu and more. Who doesn’t appreciate a great pasta! That’s exactly what you get here. Attention to detail in this lovely little spot in the old town. Great hearty meals for the hungry, well spiced and fresh – al dente. I love a place that offers great food at great prices but it is still wholesome, clean and fresh…. More of a Western vibe, but great when you just want to dig in to some real comfort food. Rated by the public 4.5*

Japanese, Sushi, Japanese Fusion – This is THE spot to get your Sushi, Poke bowl, and more yummy raw healthy foods. Love it! Easy to decide what to eat on this menu. They also deliver – a bit of sushi and poke on a ‘Friday night in’ anyone? I Love that there is such a great variety in Budva. Raw and fresh! Rated by the public 4.5*

From Meat falling off the bone side dished with delicious potatoes, to goulash and then some…. Traditional home cooked meals this amazing family restaurant comes highly recommended! Do try their tasty homemade baklava! The produce are literally farm fresh. Vegan and gluten free options. This restaurant has soul and taste all wrapped into one! Rated by the public 4.8*
Pod Murvom, Ostrvo Sveti Nikola
No better setting you will find, on the Island of Sveti Nikola, 1km from Budva coastline. An experience to tick off. Dip in the clear blue ocean whilst sipping your rose and waiting for your seafood to arrive. It could also double up as your wedding venue. Fresh fish, seafood and pastas on the salty shores, can ask for no more.

Good Food, Great Portions and Good Prices. Mostly meat dishes makes this one of the Top 10 Places to EAT in Budva if you are a meat eater. I can recommend the cheese cake to finish it off. Do request the dish of the day(‘gotova jela’) for fresh and local is what they suggest! The locals also appreciate this spot so book in summer as it can get crowded.

Carpe Diem Restaurant & Pizzeria
A little … Je ne sais quoi …how to describe this one. A bit of drama decor waiting for you to take centre stage and enjoy. Bordering on pricey to reasonably priced – budget depending. It is not touristy but also not very local. Italian foods with Seafood, Mediterranean, European, and Soups in the mix for the palette. Refreshing, Instagram’able and unique. Yes, I know, Je ne sais quoi ….

Torch beach club
It’s cozy and comfortable with a relaxed pool side vibe for the younger generation – it is Budva after all. It can get very busy. Definitely a summer party pool vibe, with drinks and pizzas and so it might not be for everyone. Very polite and welcoming staff. Great venue for functions – allowing you to choose your crowd with a great setting. They also have the best espresso, with coffee being “a thing” in Montenegro.

Taste of Asia – Last but most certainly not Least in the Top 10 places to eat in Budva…
Trend setters – a little bit of Asia at your door. Spicy, delicious and yes of course Asian. If you want to spice it up a bit this is where to go as most restaurants serve local cuisine, seafood, or Italian. So its nice to have something different. Many of these ingredients are difficult to find but that has not stopped Taste of Asia in delivering authentic and delicious foods. We had great “take away” from this spot but sit down gives you a taste of Asia feel. Great Menu. They deliver – literally and figuratively.
