Church of St. Sabba the Sanctified in Budva old town
St Sabbas was born in Moutalske (Village of Victory) and was the son of militant John and Sophia. Due to the parents travels on military missions they left their son in the care of his uncle at the age of 5. He joined the monestry of Bishop Flavian at the age of 8, and as a gifted child he mastered the Holy Scriptures.
Scales of Budva
These are beautifull cliffs found next to Mogren Beach for the nature lovers. There are trails along the coast on the other side of the cliffs
Holy Trinity Church
The Holy Trinity is an Orthodox church in front of the Citadel in the Old Town. It has a dome dominating the centre of the building. With architecture typical to its orthodox style. The beautiful interior will also delight with its calm.
Budva ballerina statue
The Ballerina Statue calved in bronze can be found on the way to Mogren beach and the old town. The legend of this ballerina is of a young lady who use to wait for her sailor every day, looking out to sea. Alas, she never got her happy ending as he never returned and as the legend goes she died on this spot. An instagram moment for the influencers.
Saint Ivan Church
The Historic basilica with its bell tower illuminated at night is a landmark in the old town. Built in the 7th Century. You can still attend service and light candles in prayer for your loved ones.
Citadela Fortress
Standing guard at the Old Town, the Citadel is a 15th century fortress.
It includes the remains of St. Mary’s Church, squares in the town, the gates, and the former army barracks.

Ruins of Roman-era Necropolis
Found at the city gates of the old town. Not much to see but it is a bit of history. There is not much protection of this site so tread litely.

Not to be missed. For those adrenaline junkies, there is some serious cliff jumping and for the romantics some beautiful spots. Located just 1 km from Budva shores. Nicknamed Hawaii island even though it has pebbles and stones. Restaurants are available for that special setting but if you spending the day pack some snacks.
Dukley Marina
Set against the historic town of Budva. An international port in the Balkans having on site Police, Custom and Harbour Masters and offers exceptional service, it caters for yachts up to 70m.
Here you will also find the small fisher boats that reminds you of the fishermans town that once was.
Have a local Domaca or Turkish cafa after your historic tour through Budva old town. At a spot along the Duckley Marina. A strong boiled local coffee brew that is most certainly cemented in the Montenegrin culture is all you need to get your energy levels back up whilst you ponder “where to next”.
