1. Recoleta

This spot is a great all rounder. A hidden gem in the centre of Tivat. The atmosphere is local. The food is great! The prices are ‘sooopur’ as the locals would say. The portions are fabulously large! If you hungry this spot is for you! Also great for family eating.

Breakfast, lunch and dinner all served as a feast. It also has an outside play area for kids. The calamari and chips are a great option but all on the menu is a great choice!

2. Big Ben

Great spot to relax over fish & chips, whilst enjoying a refreshing Somersby (a cider in Montenegro, pear flavour a favourite). You can enjoy breakfast, lunch or dinner whilst watching all the action on the waters edge. A must When looking to eat and chill in Tivat.

Also known for their great pizzas, and beef stroganoff. A relaxing day, I can almost guarantee, at this spot.

Definetly make your way over here for sundowners, the location is really great.

3. Big Bite

Burger and beer? Trendy spot. Great old fashioned burgers found here! A little pricey but it does come with a tasty bang of tradition and goodness! Enjoy the chicken or beef. Vibey in the summer and near the Pine promenade. Get there early in the summer as you might miss your seat.

4. Theodorus Restaurant – Eat in the heart of Tivat

A lovely little spot to relax with a glass of wine, enjoy seafood, pasta and a little lamb under the “Adriatic sun”. This little eating corner of Tivat never fails to disappoint. A great atmosphere in the summer, and enjoyed by locals year round.

5. Express restoran & caffe Chef’s express (HDL)

If you looking for good, home made, healthy food on your way from a day of shopping at the malls just outside of town – look no further. An in between Tivat and Kotor. We call this spot “our little diner”.

You can select what you want from a ‘buffet’, they weigh your choices and you can either eat in or take home. Great assortment and flavours of good home cooking and choose your “slice of cake” for dessert from their delicious sweet section. We were so greatful to discover this spot!

6. Pine Hotel

Traditional and still old fashioned in its ways, often overlooked for more modern places on the Pine promenade. They serve up a mean Gnocchi, salads, pizzas and have a great burger which you might find on special if you lucky in the summer… A great spot overlooking the bay of Kotor with a view to the superyachts visiting the shores, where you can relax over a glass of wine and go for sundowners. For its prime location it is well priced.

The staff are also very friendly, some having worked there for years.
