4.  Petrarum Domus Restaurant

Centrally located and easy to find this small restaurant in an old building. Great food…. wonderful atmosphere… Their steaks are the talk of the town with great flavor and they serve an excellent cod (bacalhau a chef). Great atmosphere with a fresh cool space in the middle of a summertime Obidos.

Don’t expect to rush in and out, do expect a tasty meal and time to relax after a long day of sightseeing. It was a previously a wine press adding to the atmosphere. A circular stone table seats 5 – 6 which looks like an old stone press for the wine. Authentic Portuguese food, great setting and well priced.

5. Book & Cook

An awesome setting, library style. For sure this is what intrigues. Food was honest, well imagined but with some room to improve. Nevertheless this a spot you should try experience for that Instagram moment. This one made my list of best dinner spots in Obidos for this reason.

Hoping the guitarist plays you a romantic tune. Go not so much for the food but for the ambience, you won’t be disappointed.
